M-A-D-E-L-I-N-E

Madeline isn't in Preschool this year. It doesn't seem that her "smarts" are lacking either. She has great control of her fine motor skills (and as a early childhood teacher I am MORE than happy!). She loves to now write her first and last name. Eventhough, the letters aren't perfect...I am amazed at her ability.

She is just 3.5 years old. She knows all letters and their sounds (with exception of the ALL the vowels sounds- short and long). She has also begun to learn "sight words" and it beginning to look for words that start with  letter sounds that she knows. (See the ipad game below!)

I cannot believe how much she is learning. It's still amazing to watch her grow .....every day.
