Yesterday we finally got our privacy fence installed. Our house sits on a corner lot and is near the beginning of the development. We get a lot of traffic on the side of our house which is exactly why we wanted some privacy in our back/side yard. I am very grateful for this fence because we had to jump through a few hoops to get here. I ended up spending afternoons at the county office building to get approval for storm drain easement, fence permit, and approval for a sight distance easement. I know it sounds very technical but really it was just annoying. It turns out that our beautiful yard that we paid extra for has a lot of wires and drains underneath it, thus requiring countless hours at their offices. Our HOA also had to approve this fence so surely we worked hard to get here.

We tested out the yard after the installation and Madeline totally approved. She ran around the fenced in portion of the yard saying "ence" over and over again for fence. She insisted in using her ball in the new fenced in yard. I was so happy that she was contained. As you can see from the pics, we have roads on all sides of us. She was always running into the streets before.
Happy Weekend everyone!
Oh how I wish our girls could play, they would have so much fun.
