Tomorrow is THE day....

It's hard to believe that tomorrow is going to happen. Jack and I have been waiting for this day for so long. We are settling on our new house- the house we built from the ground up! We have been through a lot of transitions and changes in the last year, all to make our family life that much better.

In January of 2010, Jack left the US Navy ( submarine force ) after 12 years. We put our 1st house on the market and relocated to the suburbs of DC after Jack was offered his first civilian job working as a defense contractor.

We moved into a 2 bedroom townhouse and hoped to only rent for 6 months. Our 1st house sold after 10 long months . In September we decided to start building our "dream house" for our family. It;s been over a year  renting...

Tomorrow we sign the papers to claim our house. There is more excitement in all of us for so many reasons.

Our lives are richer now that Jack is out of the navy and he is able to spend time with his family. We have been "unsettled" living in boxes in our 2 bedroom townhouse and are ready to feel the comforts again of a house.
